Does Eating Before Bed Cause Weight Gain?

Hope you’re doing well! Today we want to talk to you about a very important topic that many of you looking to lose weight are going to want to hear.

The biggest fat loss myth that tends to circulate around is:
EATING BEFORE BED CAUSES WEIGHT GAIN.

Sadly, misinformation can impact people with the best intentions and completely derail their program.

Fortunately, a myth is very easy to fix, so simply learning about them is the hardest part. And today, we will make that easy.

It’s not the fact you are eating before bed that’s the problem, it’s what you are eating. Most people sit down while watching TV and mindlessly dive into a bag of potato chips or a pint of ice cream.

It doesn’t take much nutrition knowledge to know that isn’t going to be helpful for your diet. But, this doesn’t mean you need to avoid food altogether.

If you plan for a healthy snack before bed – something that contains lean protein along with some healthy fats, you can certainly eat before turning in for the night.

Just be sure that you add the calories in this snack to your daily total and that that total still balances out to meet your target intake.

Here are some example of healthy night time snacks.
